Ingenium Talent is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Louisville, KY

We are currently looking to add a Quality Technician to our team. This position would be responsible for using gages, calipers, and micrometers to test metal at different points in the production process. This is a 1st shift role expecting to start at $21.12/hour
Responsibilities:
  • Must have experience in the use and calibration of standard QC inspection tools, test equipment and instruments
    • Blueprints
    • Manufacturing processes
    • Production equipment capability
    • Tooling & Fixture design
  • Must have excellent communication skills including written (email correspondence, report writing, etc.)
  • Must have strong knowledge of mathematical principles and concepts including fractions, conversions, etc.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering 2D & 3D engineering drawings using autocad style software, and be able to extract necessary data from the drawings to perform QC tasks.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite products including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to focus
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
